There 's a very large cloud of molecules of primarily molecular gas that occurs very,
very close to the center. In the very nucleus of the galaxy there is what appears to
be a ring that's really the innermost portion of this cloud. It's hot and very dense
gas and this gas is speculated to be the source of material that fuels much of the
activity we see taking place at the center.
