Crutcher on-camera: text
Once images have been produced in the computer,
astronomers will file those images in the archive and make them available for
others. So that if an astronomer is interested in studying star formation, the
astronomer can browse this digital libary of images, perhaps find the data that
he already needs, or if not, be better able to plan a new experiment. Or perhaps
if
the astronomer is a theoritician, he can get the data that can be compared with
supercomputer simulations.
