Coriolis and CamMotion

This is a screen capture of a CamMotion investigation. The points are traces of the balls path after one of children has rolled it. This indeed confirms that the motion of the ball is straight and its "curve" is a mirage that is seen by the students on the merry-go-round.


		Using CamMotion you can also superimpose the video image over the graph to obtain the following image. Also when the movie is replayed the graph points are saved and are projected on the movie so you can view the trajectory of the ball on the actual movie.
