Now let's combine these four sets of images into a single frame, adjust relative intensities, and return to our orbit around a black hole. Note that for a given photon, the probability of its completing a particular path decreases as the path grows more c
omplex. Therefore, the objects in each succeeding ring are significantly dimmer than in the preceeding rings.
