The real Grand Challenge that's involved
in general relativity is the ability to solve
for the most extreme conditions that occur in
the universe, whether it's the collapse of the
stellar core to form a new neutron star or black
hole, black holes spiralling into eachother, or
even the birth of the universe itself and
the structure that develops in that early period of the universe.
