Re: DAST: Iperf - Iperf minimum volume limitation - dmandrioli.ext --at-- rd.francetelecom.com

Damien:

The variable that needs to be modified is delay (and delay_target) in function Client::Run( void ) in src/Client.cpp.

delay specifies the inter-packet intervals - and so by modifying it you'll be able to send at different packet/data rates.

Subject: Iperf minimum volume limitation

Question/Comment:
Hello,

I use Iperf for testing special routing algorithm and I need to send

arbitrary volume (< 8 Kbytes) but it seems iperf cannot do that.

For information : I use Linux
Is it possible to break this limitation with simple modification of the

code ?

Thanks,
