Hi All,
I am new to iperf and having some trouble using it for udp. I am running iperf as a server on linux machine and as a client on windows machine. Both machines have iperf version 2.0.2.
Following is what I am getting as the output-
At the server:
iperf -s -u
------------------------------------------------------------
Server listening on UDP port 5001
Receiving 1470 byte datagrams
UDP buffer size: 108 KByte (default)
------------------------------------------------------------
[ 3] local 192.168.1.163 port 5001 connected with 192.168.1.111 port 4493
[ 3] 0.0-19.4 sec 28.7 KBytes 12.1 Kbits/sec 209.976 ms 0/ 19 (0%)
[ 3] 0.0-19.4 sec 1 datagrams received out-of-order
At the client:
iperf -c 192.168.1.163 -u
------------------------------------------------------------
Client connecting
to 192.168.1.163, UDP port 5001
Sending 1470 byte datagrams
UDP buffer size: 8.00 KByte (default)
------------------------------------------------------------
[ 3] local 192.168.1.111 port 4493 connected with 192.168.1.163 port 5001
[ 3] 0.0-11.2 sec 28.7 KBytes 21.0 Kbits/sec
[ 3] Sent 20 datagrams
[ 3] WARNING: did not receive ack of last datagram after 10 tries.
I am not getting the server report. I wonder if there is a patch for this issue or Am I doing anything wrong here or Is it a known issue? Appreciate your help.
I have yum installed iperf on linux and on windows I got iperf exe from http://dast.nlanr.net/Projects/Iperf/
Thanks a lot,
P K
