I have root access on the computer I am working on, but not the one
on the remote side. They just create a 'float' account for me to test and
that box runs as a server so I am afraid that I can't play too much on that.
(I don't need to root access except the 'default' net.core/ipv4 parameters,
which can be disabled by a normal account. I don't have permission to
run tcpdump etc., though)...

It'd be very nice and helpful if we can look at the archives, and it's super
if it comes with a search engine. (Sympa does, with marc-search  :)
