Michael,
We are using UDP, I am asuming you are refering to the datagram size
as the packet sized for Ethernet would be fixed at 1470 bytes. I have not
experimented to much with the datagram size but I will try your sugestion,
and also look into the card you are using.

What packet size are you using? I have been able to obtain over 900 Mb/s
on such hosts back-to-back using a Syskonnect card and 4k or 9k packets (I
don't recall which off the top of my head).
