Re: TOS doesn't seem to work


Must be missing something. First I would suggest using 1.6.4 on windows. 
Second remember that a hex address is valid in the form 0x4 not x4, also 
note that you can input a simple base 10 number and things are happy (2, 
4, 8, or 16). Not all OSes support all the TOS settings. I have done some 
extensive testing on Solaris 8 with 1.6.4 and it does accurately set the 
TOS. Another concern is network equipment. I can run test fine within my 
subnet here at NCSA but when I try to go broader than that the routers or 
switches or what not distroy the values I set.
