Re: Multi stream UDP test issue

Hi,

I have noticed that iperf, among other UDP-based applications (such as nc/nc6), fail when server host has multiple addresses. When the server has multiple addresses, receives using its address A, but sends back a response using address B. Now, if A happened to be the default address of the host, address B usually then equals to A and it actually works. Otherwise it just fails.

Is this the case also with you? (Probably it is different issue, though)

Hi,

I am running Iperf 2.0.2 UDP with multi streams
Client iperf -c <> -l size -u -b 10000M -P <num threads>
Server : iperf -s -u
sometimes the test passes and sometimes i get:
write2 failed: Connection refused

this does not occur in TCP test.
Is this a known issue ? any workaround ?

Happy holidays,
