Hello,
I am intending to use Iperf for testing my QoS rules and policies on a network switch.
However, I observe that when I run Iperf on the switch (with Linux 2.6.10), the CPU load shoots upto 100%.
I have been looking for Iperf patches that result in improved CPU load, but haven't found any yet.
I am using iperf version : iperf version 2.0.2 (03 May 2005) pthreads
I'll be greatful if somebody can lead me to suitable patch/solution that helps in having Iperf consume lesser processor bandwidth.
Thanks in advance.
