Re: iperf 1.7.0 hanging on Linux / AMD64


Hello Tanya,

This happened both when running it in 'loopback' or against a different 
machine. I did not try against a a non-AMD64 machine. I was using the 
source distribution.

I got a reply from another user who had run into the problem previously, 
and aided by his suggestion i added -m32 compiler and linker flags (both 
CFLAGS, CXXFLAGS and LDFLAGS), and this worked ok, so I'm assuming the 
initial problem was due to either a compiler-bug, or something 
non-64-bit safe in iperf.
