Iperf for Mac OS X troubles

I'm currently moving the Internet2 Detective over to the Mac platform
(which I don't know too well), so to familiarize myself I downloaded the
latest compile of Iperf for Mac OS X. I'm running Mac OS X 10.2.3
"Jaguar", and I download iperf, it unstuffs itself, and then plops down
on the desktop. When I open the folder, and double click "iperf", this
is the error message I get:

'There is no default application specified to open the document "iperf".'

Any suggestions? It's like OS X doesn't even think it's an
application...Thanks ahead of time,

Adam
