Opps, sorry, this is on Linux.  Ubuntu 5.04, kernel 2.6.11.

I hadn't been tracking that the discussion had been about FreeBSD. If iperf 2.0.2 and iperf 1.7 have been generally working on Linux, I'd be interested in any suggestions for solutions to my issue.
