Re: win98 question
Well we technically do not support Win98 or anything pre-windows 2000. The
reason being that there communication stacks are horribly slow. However
the problem you are encountering has nothing to do with that, but has to
do with the code that was added to provide Service support in Win32
environments. I am not sure if that is the only post win2k code. If you
want you can scrap the service code and compile without and see if it
works. All the relevant code is in src/main.cpp
