Hi All,
I tried to compile iPerf 1.7.0 on AIX 4.3.3 ML9 with gcc/g++ 2.95.3 and I
run into the following problem:
g++ -I../cfg -Wall -O2 -D_THREAD_SAFE -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -c Socket.cpp
Socket.cpp: In method `void Socket::McastJoin(SocketAddr &)':
Socket.cpp:303: no matching function for call to `SocketAddr::get_in6_addr
()'
make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 1.
I've also tried to compile it on AIX 5.2 with gcc/g++ 3.3.2 and then I run
into the following problem:
g++ -I../cfg -Wall -O2 -D_THREAD_SAFE -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -c SocketAddr.cpp
SocketAddr.cpp:68: error: parse error before `int'
make[1]: *** [SocketAddr.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/rdenze/iperf-1.7.0/lib'
make: *** [lib/libdast.a] Error 2
Has anyone managed to compile it on AIX? And if so, what's the trick?
