I would like to understand how iperf accounts for clock differences between client and server machines for UDP throughput, delay, jitter etc
calculations.
Does iperf require an external mechanism like NTP or GPS synchornization to ensure that clocks on client and server are precisely synchronized.
Is there a document/web page explaining the way information is exchanged via UDP packets.
Thanks in advance.
