Re: Iperf threading problems on CentOS 4?

Yep, daemon mode is inherently buggy (on all platforms); a fix for this has been the one thing holding up a new micro-version release, but hopefully soon...

I'm having problems getting Iperf to work on CentOS 4. In server mode
(-s) from the command line, it works. However, when run in daemon
mode from the command line, it transfers some data (under 2Mbytes)
then never completes. When this happens, I have to do a kill -9 to
get it to exit.

If I compile it with threading disabled, it works.

Is this due to a bug in Iperf? Has anyone else seen a similar problem?
