setting client port?

Is there a way to force the client to use a specific port outbound? I 
know it reports the port it is using, but we were doing some testing 
with a vendor and they built code around the port numbers that had 
been used, but the next time we ran the code, of course it picked a 
different port (they didn't ask us first -- we would have told them 
that would happen).  they changed their code to let them set the 
port, but we thought this might come in handy again, so I thought I'd 
ask if there was either a flag I didn't find that would let me set 
the client port, or put it on a wish list of future features.
