>Hi, I'm able to run iperf successfully in non-daemon mode using iperf -s,
however, when I attempt to run iperf -s -D the server display looks like
it's waiting for connections. When staring the client side iperf -c
<iperfserveraddress> I get no output. I monitored the traffic using
ethereal and TCP packet traffic stopped after approximately 2780 packets.
No results were displayed on the client side (or server side). Most
packets were errored, according to ethereal, with an incorrect checksum
reported. I'm using a SoeKris net4801 at runlevel 3 as the server. I
tried compiling from source for both the 2.4 and 2.6 Debian kernels with
the same results. The client machine was running the same version of iperf
as the server on Fedora Core 4. I've googled quite a bit and have not
found any so I don't believe it to be well known problem. Thanks for any
help you can provide and let me know if I can collect more data to help
isolate the problem.
