NetBSD 2.0.2/amd64 Problems

I'm running a v1.3 beacon under NetBSD 2.0.2 on an amd64 box. It can hear the world, but nothing can hear it, including another beacon (FreeBSD; x86) on the same subnet. Does anyone have experience with v1.3 on either NetBSD 2.0.2 or amd64 (or preferably both)? The fear in the back of my mind is that there is something in the code which isn't 64-bit clean.
