threads hang on linux clients?

Is anyone having any troubles with multiple threads on linux with iperf 
1.7.0?   In running an iperf server on linux inbound clients on solaris, 
all works well.  If I turn it around and run servers on the solaris 
boxes,  the linux client hangs.  Has anyone seen this?  If any further 
information is needed, please ask.
